Description
'Always forward – never backward!' – this is the motto under which this GDR comedy show marches with a sharp tongue directly through the 'good old days'. Under the strict – and guaranteed not voluntary – guidance of Senior Sergeant Wichtig, allegedly the last existing section representative of the German Democratic Mountain Republic, plain language is spoken.
Because here the rule is: If you laugh, you've almost confessed. With a sharp eye, dry humor, and a good dose of East German nostalgia, the show takes you through bizarre memories, absurd rules, and the big and small peculiarities of everyday life in the GDR. And as if that weren't enough, the former Chairman of the Council of State also has his say again – and of course he has a lot to say. A humorous foray with the ABV – between Bockwurst, potato salad and lots of 'state-certified' punchlines.
