The tour begins in the central Nikolaiviertel, just five minutes from the TV Tower by foot. Experience the streets where Berlin's history lies and it all started. During this 3-hour tour, learn not only trivia but hear anecdotes about old and new sights in Berlin's historical Mitte and in Prenzlauer Berg (in the German-language-version), an area that represents change and renewal like no other on the 12-kilometer ride. Take a leisurely ride through the lively center and vibrant neighborhoods, and pass by renovated historic buildings. In the slightly different English version of this tour though you won't miss significant locations related to Berlin's famous yet tragic recent history as the center of Nazi-rule and the Cold War, such as Checkpoint Charlie, remains of The Wall and the site of Hitler's bunker.
