Description
Join a small-group photography walk through Kreuzberg with a local documentary photographer with 17 years of experience across 14 European markets. Meet at the Admiralbrücke on the Landwehrkanal and walk through some of Berlin's most characteristic streets and courtyards towards the famous Kottbusser Tor. Along the way, you'll look for everyday scenes: people at markets and cafés, street corners, river banks, old shop fronts and strong natural light. You'll learn how to read light and shadow, compose quickly on the street, approach people respectfully, choose the right moment, and build a short visual story about a place or person. You'll also cover ethics in documentary work: how not to steal images and how to photograph locals in a responsible way. All camera types welcome - smartphone, mirrorless, DSLR or analog film. A simple 35mm or 50mm lens is ideal but not required. At the end of the walk, sit down in a local café, review a selection of your images together, and receive personal feedback plus simple exercises to continue on your own. You'll leave not only with strong photos of Berlin, but with a clear method you can use in any city you visit in the future.Includes
