Description

Test drive the pottery wheel in this 2.5-hour taster session. Learn the basics of throwing a ceramic pot and have a chance to experiment on your own. Pick your favorite piece to keep and choose from one of the available glazes. You will find our bright pottery studio tucked away in the second courtyard of a typical Kreuzberg home in the Graefekiez. On the way to the studio you will already feel like a real Berliner walking down the tree lined Dieffenbachstr, one of the most beautiful streets in the area. Your teacher is waiting for you at the studio to share an introduction to pottery with you. You will learn how to throw a ceramic pot and have a chance to experiment on your own. Pick your favorite piece to keep and choose from one of the available glazes. In the weeks following the class, your piece will be trimmed, glazed, and fired by an experienced team member. You can then pick up your finished piece at the studio or we will send it to you.
