Description
Following the huge success of Flying Dreams 2022, the Wintergarten Varieté has once again teamed up with the breakdancers and creative team of Flying Steps to continue their joint story.
Wintergarten director Rodrigue Funke and Vartan Basil from Flying Steps will join choreographer Jeffrey Jimenez in the new show 'FLYING LIGHTS' to once again combine street style, breakdancing, and the elegance of variety theater into a unique blend.
As the title suggests, the theme of light in all its facets will be the connecting thread. The dancers and artists will perform on the Wintergarten stage to pulsating beats with fire and the latest LED technology, while live cello music will create poetic moments of light and shadow.
As is customary at the Wintergarten, 'FLYING LIGHTS' also offers first-class circus treats. Whether it's LED club juggling with the Canaval Twins, Icarian games with the Segura Brothers, or 19-year-old Carla Seitz, a recent graduate of the State School of Artistry, on the straps – as always, the acrobatics are of the highest standard.
Geraldine Philadelphia is finally returning to the Wintergarten with her hula hoops after a two-year guest appearance in Las Vegas, and young talent Maxim Voronin will not only float magically across the stage as if by magic, but also make things appear in an inexplicable way while performing a one-armed handstand.
After the huge acclaim received by the VR Universal Drivers motorcyclists with their loops in the world's smallest motorcycle globe (3.80 m in diameter) in the last production 'Varieté GAGA,' the Wintergarten has decided to present this act again in a further developed version in 'FLYING LIGHTS.'
The international variety stars and the congenial, furious dancers of the Flying Steps, who thrilled audiences this year on 'America's Got Talent,' promise an action-packed evening that is sure to get the mood and the adrenaline levels of the audience soaring.
During the show, strobe lighting effects will be used, which may be unsuitable for people who are sensitive to light (e.g., those with epilepsy).
