Join us on a captivating walking tour through Berlin's most iconic sites. We'll explore the Museum Island (without entering the museums), the impressive Reichstag, and the majestic Berlin Cathedral ('Berliner Dom'). Discover the Berlin City Palace (aka - the Humboldt Forum), and stroll along the tree-lined Unter den Linden boulevard.
You'll see the TV Tower, the Royal Opera House built by Frederick the Great, Humboldt University, and Bebelplatz, where Micha Ullman's Book Burning Memorial stands. Admire the beauty of Gendarmenmarkt Square, home to twin churches and the Concert Hall.
We'll also visit the former centre of communist government, Friedrichstrasse, and the historic Checkpoint Charlie. Witness an authentic section of the Berlin Wall still standing, and explore the Topography of Terror, the former Gestapo and SS headquarters. See the site of Hitler's Chancellery and bunker (though the bunker itself is inaccessible).
Finally, we'll pay our respects at the Holocaust Memorial and conclude our journey at the iconic Brandenburg Gate. This tour offers a deep dive into Berlin's rich history and vibrant culture.
