Description
Experience an enchanting evening of classical music at the Berlin's French Cathedral. Performing is The Berlin Orchestra and two soloists:
Duangamorn Fu - soprano
Originally from Thailand, she developed her talent through studies in Vienna and Berlin. Duangamorn’s opera debut came in 2022 with Gretel at the Schlosstheater in Schönbrunn, Vienna. A prizewinner at several renowned international competitions, including those in Osaka, Astana, Brussels, Graz and Vienna, Duangamorn’s talent has been consistently recognized. In 2024, she earned the prestigious honor of being the absolute winner of the debut concert at the Berlin Philharmonie, cementing her place as a rising star in the opera world.
Dayoon You - violin solo
Violinist Dayoon You came to international recognition when he received the “Special Prize” at the 2021 ARD International Music Competition in Munich. He is also a laureate of the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition and he also won the second prize at the 2023 Long-Thibaud Violin Competition. Dayoon You has performed with the Belgian National Orchestra, the Korean National Symphony Orchestra and other prestigious orchestras. He plays a 1774 Joannes Baptista Guadagnini violin, generously on loan from the Kumho Cultural Foundation.
