Experience Berlin from the water aboard a zero-emission solar catamaran that glides noiselessly through the Spree River. The tour departs from the harbor at Oberbaumbrücke, located in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg at Solarwaterworld AG.
Over approximately 2.5 hours, the boat passes key city landmarks accompanied by audio guide explanations in multiple languages. Highlights include the Oberbaum Bridge, East Side Gallery, and passing through the Mühlendamm Lock. The tour continues westward along the Spree, featuring views of Museum Island, the government district with the Reichstag and Federal Chancellery, the central train station, and the House of World Cultures ('Pregnant Oyster'). The boat then returns to its starting point.
The boat operates without a loud engine or public address system, allowing for a quiet atmosphere enhanced by multilingual audio guides available in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, and Russian.
