The Pirate Hostel
This hostel is basic and comfortable with all the in room facilities one would need for a simple stay in Berlin.
All rooms have a private bathroom, free WiFi, a fridge, a television and secure lockers.
Located in Friedrichshain, it's a great spot for getting out on the town and Karl-Marx Allee just down the road plus Frankfurter Allee train station and shopping centre.
A good option for travellers of small groups as you can get rooms/apartments with up to 9 beds for €12 per bed.
Called the Pirate Hotel, the only thing piratey, besides the flag out the front, are the pirate-esk skull and cross bows bed linen and desert island murals on the walls. Weather you feel there is buried treasure hidden somewhere or not is up to you. The booty about this hotel may just be the price.
