Came here for our first dinner in Berlin. Very yummy food, and the waiter was very nice and super funny, he took our picture for us.
Date: 23/04/26 The indoor seating is on the lower ground floor and has really adorable decor. I tried the Eisbein (Berlin pickled pork knuckle) and the Rote Grütze. The pork skin was soft and tender, well-seasoned and not at all greasy. The pickles were a bit too sharp for my taste, but it was still a great combination. It’s better to share the Eisbein between two people as it’s a huge portion. They do offer a takeaway container for a €0.50 fee.
A friend of ours who lives in Berlin recommended this place. We specifically wanted to go to a restaurant that offers classic German dishes. We went there for dinner. The place is excellent, with friendly service and delicious food. It was our first time in Berlin, and we don’t regret choosing this place. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to try traditional German cuisine. Compared to Berlin prices, the pricing is fair and offers great value for money.
We visited this place after a recommendation. The place has a really nice vibe. However, the staff made us feel a bit awkward. When we asked for a table, the waitress told us to wait and that's what we did. 10min later, she showed us the table so we approached it to leave our stuff. When waitress came to clean the table she was crying. We didn't know what to assume and then another waiter came to assist us. This incident made the whole atmosphere really awkward thinking that we did something we shouldn't even when we didn't exchange any words. Anyway, the food was ok. I recommend the souffle with spinach.
Wow! Mutter-Hope restaurant is truly wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish beautifully presented. The service was attentive and welcoming, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the live music added such a lovely touch. Definitely a place I’d recommend and would love to visit again!
