We were a large group who had been turned away by the rudeness of another place, and this restaurant truly saved our day (birthday evening to be precise)! We were lucky to get a table, and despite the challenges of our group size, everything was handled smoothly and without any stress
If you want respect, friendly staff, tasty drinks and chill vibe to talk and enjoy, Galander is the best. I really enjoyed spending time there and trust me the whiskey sour was the best whiskey sour ever. Also other drinks were good.
The prices are quite high. The bar has a somewhat fancy vibe, but in my opinion, it’s still overpriced. You also can’t order directly at the bar and have to wait for a waitress, who is often very busy. It’s a bit frustrating that you can’t simply ask the bartender for a drink. Additionally, there aren’t many young people there.
For me one of the most positive ‚re-vivals‘ - excellent selection, most friendly and knowledgeable staff- perfect bar in Bergmannkiez!
