Absolutely incredible evening, had such an amazing gluten free meal which the host explained was cooked in a separate room to avoid cross contamination! I tried one of their gluten free beers, which I surprisingly enjoyed (i don’t usually like beer) Lovely atmosphere, we initially sat outside but it got a bit chilly so we came inside. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. If we have time on our short trip in Berlin, i’d really love to come back. Highly recommend!
The decor may look a little mediocre but do NOT let that fool you. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The kindest lady ever serviced us and was very very flexible when one of us wanted fries instead of potatoes or rice instead of fries. Portion size was great and the meat was so tender it nearly slid right off the bone. All in all great experience and I will be retuening if ever I am in the area again.
Amazing and authentic! Quality food, top service and a million stars of that extra sparkle! Could not give this place the right amount of !!!!! Just go here. After we’ve payed I was looking at the desserts and I got a box with me to my hotel, THAT IS SOMETING EXTRA!
This is a great place for German cuisine. I had the Sweinshaxe mit sauerkraut und saltzkatoffle and it was great! Way too much food for one person, but that is not a complaint. 600-700g of meat and then the sides on top of that. Absolutely delicious and I wish my stomach could have held more! Great atmosphere with great music from the ages. Despite the payment terminal not working, due to another customer dropping it earlier in the day, we figured it out with a bank transfer. Thanks so much to Alex and his mother and cook who all did a great job. Keep up the good work! I'd recommend this place to anyone. And I am not even one for writing Google reviews!
