An amazing experience from start to finish! The 4-course menu was not only delicious but also great value for money. Every dish was well thought out, and the cocktails were simply outstanding—definitely a highlight of the evening. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the service strikes the perfect balance between friendly and attentive. A particularly lovely touch was the birthday dessert with a candle, which they remembered from the reservation—such attention to detail made the night feel extra special. Would absolutely come back!
I visited BURRO UNCHAINED last week with my partner and chose the vegetarian menu. I really must say this was one of the best experiences I had in the last months in Berlin. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere, beautifully designed. The vegetarian dishes were absolutely delicious - I would come back for it any second: 10 of 10 for me. As my partner had the meat option, I also had a try of it. A solid 9 of 10 for the non veggie dishes. Totally worth the money for what is offered!

I had had cocktails here once and heard the food was good so I went to try it. Unfortunately, I have to conclude that Berlin is not the city for Latin American food, because it was quite disappointing. The service was very sub par (Berlin classic), the food was presented beautifully but lacked any complexity of flavor. The amuse-bouche was the only item that made me feel like I couldn't recreate this at home. The ingredients were very interestingly paired but the taste was often one-note (e.g. the octopus main dish tasted almost exclusively of the tomato based sauce). I also expected there to be more mezcal on the cocktail list. The atmosphere was okay, but the pendant light hanging from every table was clearly meant to take really great food photos and was quite weird lighting to be able to see my dining companion.
This donkey is still in shackles. I am going to tell it the way I experienced it. In my opinion execution is not on par with the price point. Clean(-ish), but lacking all of the basics. Service is a bit strained. Tempo is well off (amuse-bouche and starter almost hand-in-hand, then nothing for quite some time). I really wish I would like this place more than I actually do as … Main dish is insanely good! Imagine what an“is everything alright, Mate/Sir/Xx? could have accomplished (given that the dining room is almost empty)! Would have brought the xperience to an acceptable level.
