I ordered the chicken curry and the Cambodian beef skewers. They were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and music is excellent. The waiter was polite and the food arrived fast.
A lovely Cambodian restaurant in Berlin with friendly and attentive service. From the outside, it looks rather modest. The sign is small and a bit faded, so it’s easy to walk past without noticing. But once you step inside, the atmosphere completely changes. The space is large with plenty of seating, and the interior is warm and thoughtfully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming setting. It works well for both small gatherings and bigger groups. As a Cambodian who recently moved here, I noticed that some dishes do not taste exactly the same as they do back home. The flavors can be influenced by many factors, including ingredient availability and slight adjustments in spices. So it’s best not to expect a one hundred percent match with what you might be used to enjoying in Cambodia. That said, the food still captures the essence of Khmer cuisine and offers a comforting reminder of home. All in all, it’s a welcome addition to Berlin’s Cambodian food scene and definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a cozy place to enjoy classic Khmer dishes.
I was craving fish amok after visiting Cambodia, and I was so happy to find this restaurant. It truly makes you feel like you’re back in Cambodia... from the beautiful décor to the authentic food. Everything was delicious, and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I 100% recommend this place.
