We came here on our last night in Berlin and so glad we did. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We started with dumplings, which were lovely, then had Dobbab for mains — I had the chicken (D6), my partner had the beef. Both were super tasty and well portioned. This was my first introduction to Korean food and I loved it!
Great korean restaurant,Great service, the prices are good and the portions huge ! ( took the Japchae set ) And the Male server was very nice and funny thank you again we will come back !
After almost a week of traveling, we were seriously craving Korean food—especially after a bit too much instant ramen. This spot was clearly popular and quite busy, and we were even told there might be a slight delay due to an ongoing construction. But despite the notice, everything came out in about 10 minutes! The staff was friendly and fluent in both Korean and English (and likely German as well), making it accommodating for tourists. The portions were generous, the food really hit the spot, and we genuinely felt at home. One small note: the marinated pork was a bit on the salty side for our taste, though it may reflect local preferences. Overall, a very satisfying and comforting meal—we’re so glad we decided to stop by. Highly recommend for locals looking for authentic Korean food, as well as for anyone of Korean heritage seeking a taste of home.
We visited this place as a group of four on o Sunday evening for dinner. We had no reservation as this place was taking no reservations in advance so it was just walk in. We ordered Korean style BBQ (Sodeungsim Gui and Dak-galbi Gui) and a Kimchi Jigae to share. Everything was super delicious and we incredibly enjoyed our meals. My only complaint is that the rice coming on the side with BBQ was too little to share for 2 people (i myself ended up eating 2.5 of them) The drinks we got (soju and beer) were okay (i am not a big beer person). We mixed the soju and beer to make “Somaek” , a traditional way to drink these two, but I liked soju better on its own. The seating area we were seated was just across the open door and i must say i felt cold (despite the bbq set on table) so only 3 stars for the atmosphere.
