They found us a table with no reservation at peak time so we were off to good start. Service was strong and the food and beverages flowed nicely. Schnitzel was delightful - moist and fluffy crumb. Enjoyed the light we had there. A late mention for the cheesecake also - delicious.
A wonderful place to enjoy game, especially in winter. We ordered liver and ‘Kaiserschmarrn’ — everything was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch! The atmosphere is reminiscent of a hunter’s lodge. And in summer they have an open terrace
The food here is excellent. Expect traditional German cuisine, and if you’re not familiar with it, I’d definitely encourage you to give it a try. It might pleasantly surprise you with how flavourful, vibrant, and satisfying it is. The warm German hospitality only makes the experience even better.
I love the food here. I think it’s the best in Berlin. I will definitely come back to try new menu. The atmosphere is amazing. The staffs are super nice. Everything is just impressive.
Tuesday early evening, solo traveller, no reservation. Seating at bar, great service with good recommendations from staff for both meal and beverage. Lovely restaurant, atmosphere and decorations. Had some of their bread with pickled vegetables and later the wildboar cheeks for mains. Only odd thing was that they do not serve tap water.
