Nestled in the courtyard of the former brewery, the Willner-Brauerei-Berlin, Emils offers a unique atmosphere. Emils is one of Berlin's newest beer gardens, opening its gates for the first time in 2013 and is located on the border of Prenzlauer Berg and Pankow. Although Emils is only 2 stops further along the U2 than Prater, this distance proves too much for the majority of tourists. This makes for a much more chilled and relaxed atmosphere and, dare i say it, offers a more authentic Berlin experience!
Sit on an assortment of chairs and tables, from benches, garden chairs and deck chairs, and take your pick of shade underneath the large tree or sit in the sun.
