There are restaurants, and then there are places that make you question whether civilization accidentally got something right. Entrecôte in Berlin is the latter. The goat cheese salad arrives looking almost too civilized—fresh greens dressed in a sharp mustard vinaigrette that cuts through the rich, warm goat cheese with the precision of a switchblade. It wakes you up and whispers that things are about to get serious. Then comes the steak. Beautifully cooked, unapologetic, draped in a Béarnaise sauce so decadent it should probably require legal representation. Alongside it are hand-cut fries, golden and crisp, the kind that remind you potatoes were never meant for moderation. But the real hallucination is the onion soup. This isn’t soup; it’s a religious experience. A broth deep enough to hide old secrets, buried beneath so much bubbling, caramelized cheese that somewhere, if you listen carefully, you can hear the angels singing in the distance. The gods clearly had a hand in this one. Just when you think surrender is the only rational option, they bring the seasonal dessert—a glorious pile of hand-whipped vanilla cream, sun-ripened strawberries, and ice cream that tastes like summer itself decided to retire in France before wandering into Berlin. Entrecôte doesn’t simply serve dinner. It stages a delicious coup against mediocrity.
Good restaurants but my main course arrive 35 minutes after That is not acceptable. It was confit canard That is quite OK. French fries was good, but what they have put aside french fries a german stuff that is not acceptable, except German😂 Wine by glass are really good congratulation to them to choose good affordable wine They made a big apoligise who are aware of mistake. So French, you may almost feel transported to a Brasserie in Paris, except the service is friendlier than in Paris! Every single dish was cooked to perfection, but the entrecôte of course topped it all! The chocolate mousse is to die for!
We had a great experience at Entrecôte in Berlin. We tried their steak and dessert, and both were excellent, high quality and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely come back again.
