I’m at the Gibson Bar right now, and I just wanted to say that Thabata has been absolutely wonderful. She was so welcoming, attentive, smart, kind, and genuinely funny. She’s also a very lovely woman, and you can tell she truly values and appreciates the guests. She really made the experience even better. She definitely deserves recognition and, honestly, a promotion.
Incredible cocktails. Each one has its own unique concept, with a great story to boot. Presentation is wonderful and the ingredients are top shelf. The atmosphere is also on point. For me, the thing that tied the experience together was the staff — everyone from the host, server and bartender were amazing. Nicholas, your energy is contagious!
The Gibson bar is incredible on so many aspects. Me and work friend stumbled on it while looking for food and drink in potsdammer platz late night on a Monday morning!. It was so good I went back on Wednesday night and was blown away once again... Open till 3am and serving not just any old food but decent quality late night food. Steak tartare with a old fashioned at 1am, yes please! The cocktails are top notch and the bar staff who knows their stuff with the ability to adapt to almost any preference or tastes. Not only top notch, but the knowledge is all there if you ask (and you must!). The pictures show how great everything is and even the friendly nature of the staff if you ask and talk to them. Daniel and Tabitha are a joy by the way! If I am ever in Berlin again, the Gibson is a absolute must! Likely next year!
Absolutely fantastic place for a few stunning cocktails. Their cocktail list is amazing and very unique.. but tbh why will also make you anything you want to a very high standard, and watch out they are strong.
An excellent bar with a great interior, friendly and attentive staff. The cocktail presentation is mesmerizing, and the food is top-notch as well.
