The interior design is beautiful and, compared to other places in the neighborhood, feels quite upscale and stylish. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. The food was good overall. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was enjoyable, but for the price, it wasn’t particularly outstanding or memorable. While the atmosphere is definitely a strong point, the service and value for money could be improved.
It’s a very nice hotel and restaurant with a unique vibe and menu. For sure the duck menu is a must. But also the other things on the menu are great. Service was superb, young dynamic and friendly team. I’ll be back for sure.
Really liked the idea behind the X-Berg duck. I haven’t had Peking duck in a while and this definitely satisfied that craving. The pickled bak choi paired with the duck breast was a really nice touch. A tiny downside was that the duck skin didn’t feel fully roasted through, so there was oil when eaten with the pancake, which was already slightly oily. It would have felt more balanced if the skin had been toasted a bit drier😋.
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I booked a table for a special occasion and I wasn't disappointed - the whole experience was exactly what I expected: amazing menu, great wine pairing, mind-blowing duck dishes, very attentive service. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxed. The main highlight was the duck skin being cut in front of us, and tasting it as part of the pancakes dish. The flavour was something pit of this world. Thank you to the Orania chef & team, for a curated and unique dining experience.
Warm fine dining experience. Tried the duck menu. Very well balanced in terms of flavors, quality, and quantity. Service impeccable, very meticulous with every dish, and with a formal yet informal service. Go for it
