The best Beef Wellington in Germany is definitely at Brasserie Colette by Tim Raue. The restaurant offers outstanding quality ingredients, fresh, refined flavours, and a warm, cosy atmosphere. We are returning clients here. For the first time in my life, I tried onion ice cream, served alongside the beef tartare. What an incredible and unexpected flavour combination; it was absolutely explosive. Same goes for the Prawn Marocain, super flavours. The staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke excellent English, making the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the slow pace of the kitchen. We had already been at the restaurant for nearly three hours before our main course arrived. Thankfully, the Beef Wellington was truly exceptional and well worth the wait, but the service could certainly be faster.
What a fabulous dinner at Brasserie Colette Tim Raue! Every single dish of our 4-course meal was absolutely divine — and the bread and pickles alone were worth the visit. The food strikes that perfect balance of Tim Raue’s bold signature style and the warmth of a true French brasserie. But what really made the evening was our waitress Alicia. She was attentive, gracious, and brought so much life and fun to the table. She is a true gem and a credit to the team. We will absolutely be back!
Lovely four course lunch with perfect wine pairing. The only thing we would change is the duck was a bit tough (but flavor was excellent). Everything else, including service by entire staff, was excellent.
one of the most reliable fine dining spots i honestly can’t say anything bad about this place. every time i come here, everything is excellent. the food, the service, the atmosphere. it’s one of those restaurants where you just know you’ll have a good experience. i don’t hear it mentioned in recommendations very often, but for me it’s one of the most reliable places in the city. the quality is always consistent, and the service is truly impeccable. it’s the kind of restaurant you can trust for an important dinner, a date, or a work meeting. the menu is fantastic and, as far as i can tell, changes from time to time. sometimes i can’t find dishes i had before, which makes each visit a bit different. i personally love coming here for lunch. definitely recommend making a reservation and definitely recommend visiting.
Colette presents itself as a French brasserie abroad, and it is. They serve fantastic French food but reinvented. The restaurant serves a four course lunch/dinner for just 99 euro. A real treat! We went for two courses. My partner had excellent French oysters. I had pâté duc à l'orange, which surprisingly came in a soft texture. As a main we had pulpo and lamb, which both came in a reinvented way. Also they have an excellent, very affordable French winelist and staff is savy of anyting French. Cannot wait to be back in Berlin and join them for a diner.
