Although I didn't get the chance to experience the club from the inside, I know Heideglühen regularly hosts great artists and has an excellent musical reputation. For that reason, I'm leaving 2 out of 5 stars. We waited for almost two hours in the rain, only to be turned away at the door. I completely understand that every club has its own door policy, and I respect that. I also want to point out that the staff communicated the decision politely and respectfully. My feedback is about the process rather than the decision itself. If there's a long queue and no shelter from the rain, it would be much appreciated if the team could make an earlier assessment of the line. That way, people who ultimately won't be admitted wouldn't have to wait for hours in poor weather. What was most disappointing was missing an artist I had been looking forward to seeing. Music and art are what bring many people there, and it's unfortunate when you don't get the opportunity to experience them. I understand the reasons behind a selective door policy, but it still leaves you with a bittersweet feeling. This is not meant as criticism of the door staff, but as constructive feedback that could make the experience fairer and more considerate for everyone waiting.
Club for true techno/ house music lovers of all ages. Zero pretence, zero silicone. Just great music and people dancing. Stick those yellow and green stickers on your phone's camera and enjoy your time there.
