We spend a lovely evening in the restaurant on a weekday, they were very accomodating and nice (spontaneous visit, coming with our small dog). We ordered the menu and the non alcoholic pairing, the dishes were consistently good and delicious from beginning to end, creative flavours yet comforting and full of flavour! The teas and drinks were amazing, I was impressed by how well they paired with each course. Staff and service was 5 stars. We would love to come back!
A culinary wonder! It isn't just a meal, it is an experience you will never forget. We had 10 courses of perfectly balanced, well-executed dishes with some mind-blowing flavor and texture combinations. It's impossible to pick just one favorite because they were all exquisite, but our top picks were the beef, duck, scallop, and halibut. We opted for the tea pairing rather than wine; each one was beautifully explained, and the subtle tasting notes really did complement the dishes perfectly. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and simply outstanding. It is well worth the spend in our opinion, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a truly memorable dinner. All of its accolades are fully deserved!
Dae Mon sits somewhere between fine dining and a regular dinner spot, both in ambition and in how it feels overall. The place itself is very sleek and well designed, clearly aiming for a refined but not intimidating atmosphere. I went using an Amex benefit, and in that context it was fine, but I would not pay full price for the experience. Service was excellent throughout (attentive, professional, well paced), but the food did not quite live up to the setting. I had the tasting menu and while everything was executed correctly, no dish really stood out or surprised me. Nothing was bad, just not memorable. The dessert, however, was the clear exception and genuinely impressive, easily the highlight of the meal. Wine prices are on the expensive side, which further tips the value equation in the wrong direction. Overall, a polished experience with great service and a strong dessert, but not one I would actively seek out or repeat without a special deal.
We had a wonderful evening at Daemon. I loved the atmosphere — great music, perfect sound, and that unmistakable Berlin vibe. The 10-course dinner was a journey: not every dish hit my personal taste, but some really hit me. Some are kinda dirty soul food, some fancy & healthy but all creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. The service felt genuine, not over-polished, which fit the place perfectly. A good comparison in Berlin would be Lovis but for me, Daemon easily beats Lovis — more soul, more fun. Absolutely worth a visit
