Really a nice evening and great Experience.
For our second visit to Hugo's, this time to celebrate my birthday on June 18th, there is only one thing to say: thank you. Having had the privilege of dining at several Michelin-starred restaurants, we can honestly say that this was one of the finest culinary experiences we have ever had. Everything was simply perfect: the warm welcome, the impeccable service, the attention to every detail, and the flawless flow of the entire evening. A special thank you to Chef Johannes, whose talent truly shines through every single dish. Each plate reflects incredible passion, precision, and creativity. Every bite was a perfect balance of flavour, technique, and emotion, making the entire menu an unforgettable journey. And what can I say about the sommelier and maître d'? Simply outstanding. The wine pairings were exceptional, with every glass perfectly complementing and elevating each course. His knowledge, passion, and ability to explain the wines and their harmony with the food added another dimension to an already extraordinary experience. Beyond the cuisine itself, it is the entire team that deserves recognition. You made my birthday truly unforgettable and gave us an evening we will remember for a very long time. Thank you all for your professionalism, your passion, and your genuine hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next visit. We are wholeheartedly behind you as the Michelin Guide announcement approaches. Whatever the outcome, your passion, talent, and dedication have already earned the highest recognition in our eyes. We visited Hugos Restaurant in November 2025 for the second time. Again, it was an amazing experience - food was incredible, very tasteful and so creative. The team (service and both chefs, old and new - a special thank you) were very attentive and made this an evening to remember. The view from the 14th floor added to this. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.
Hugos was the perfect ending meal to our time in Berlin. The service was outstanding with a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. We chose the 8 course meal with wine pairings. The wine pairings are perfect and such a complement to each course. Every course consists of surprising flavor combinations for unique dishes that are beautifully presented, creative and mouth-watering delicious. We’ve had the good fortune to dine at numerous Michelin star rated restaurants and this one is at the top! (Highly recommend the 8 course meal as the scallop dish and the fennel dish additions were perfection.)
Very nice restaurant. Classic hotel restaurant, good service, excellent views, quite spacious. I liked the menu quite a bit. Has some nice dishes like scallop or bison. In a way pretty straightforward and not taking that many risks, but very good execution so it's definitely a worthwhile meal.
