Been there yesterday (not the first time). While the last time was astonishing yesterdays experience was not. As always the food was great (exept for the chicken- a bit of a basic dish for the price). Bit the service yesterday was - let‘s say non existent. The waiters were more busy drinking their wine/beer behind the counter rather than serve the clients. That is not acceptable. A pity. KINK was one of the best locations in town - but yeah maybe too proud of that what turns to arrogance…
KINK is one of those rare places where dining feels like an experience rather than just a meal. Every dish arrives like a small work of art - beautifully composed, full of character and incredibly delicious. My biggest recommendation: the oysters. They are exceptionally fresh, impressively large and honestly among the very best oysters you can find in Berlin. The atmosphere is equally special. Dining at KINK feels a bit like sitting inside a contemporary art gallery - stylish and refined, yet never pretentious. The team is genuinely warm and welcoming, making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. It's the perfect place for a special occasion, a date night, or simply an evening when you want to treat yourself. What I also love is the sharing concept: ordering many different dishes and discovering new flavors together. And since there's also an amazing bar, it's easy to spend an entire evening here. Add the occasional events, great cocktails, and beautiful crowd and you have one of Berlin's most memorable dining destinations. Fine dining without the stiffness, outstanding food without the ego. KINK is an easy recommendation. Absolutely loving it here!
A great place for dinner or just a drink. I've visited both the restaurant and the bar several times, and every visit has been a great experience. The food is always delicious, the service is friendly and professional, and the wine selection is excellent. It's always a pleasure to come back. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and never feels too formal. During the summer, they also have a lovely outdoor terrace. Highly recommended!
Had an absolutely amazing evening at KINK BAR! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy good food and outstanding cocktails/wine in Berlin. I’ve been wanting to dine here for years and it definitely lived up to my expectations. We sat at the bar with a view into the kitchen! Perfect location and service from Tim.
I did some research about good food places in Berlin and found this place. So I booked a table before our trip, and we were very looking forward to it. The ambience is great. Staff/service was good in general while staff could be more attentive. What I disappointed most was food. Every dish was quite small portion and there were so limited choices of menu. The iberico pork was too chewy and hard. The yellow tail was fine. The beef rib was tender but I didn’t like the sauce. The corn flautas didn’t much have flavour. The desserts were mediocre. Obviously these are not the quality that I would expect from a restaurant with this price. We both left very disappointed.
