Had a great experience when visiting the restaurant here! Great atmosphere with chill music. The food was good, and the view even better. A bit on the pricier side, but would rather pay a bit more to have proper good food, than having stereotypical tourist attraction food. Many thanks to Miguel for being such a terrific host!
Come for the view. Stay for the sunset. Bring good company. The panoramic views from the TV Tower are simply breathtaking, and watching Berlin slowly rotate beneath you while enjoying a glass (or several) of wine makes for a genuinely special evening. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. The food, however, didn’t quite live up to the setting. I expected more creativity and a stronger seasonal twist from Tim Raue. Serving Königsberger Klopse in 35°C heat felt surprisingly heavy, and the vegan menu was rather underwhelming. The wine was generous—perhaps a little too generous—as it arrived quickly and sometimes before the matching dishes, which made for a very cheerful evening on an empty stomach. 😂 Would I come back? Absolutely. Not primarily for the food, but for one of the most spectacular dining views in Berlin. It’s a memorable experience and a wonderful treat.
We had a good time up there, everything was well organized, our table was set when we arrived. The view is splendid, much more enjoyable than rubbing shoulders with the crowd on the platform below. The tables are moving much quicker than expected, without becoming uncomfortable, though. The food was good, if not as overwhelming as some reviews would suggest, with portions a wee bit small for my taste (a bit more mashed potato and beetroot with the meat balls would’ve been appreciated, as would’ve been a few capers for the sauce). Desserts were truly great, though - and anyway, you pay for the experience which was unique. Service was professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
A fantastic experience! Highest dining in Berlin with an astonishing view. The menu „Meine Heimat“ by Tim Raue is a perfect combination of classics with a modern twist. You think you are eating a classic dessert „Bienenstich“ turns out the sauce had a hint of Saffron in it. Usually desserts are not my favorite part of a menu but this one is an absolute stunner!
We had a wonderful evening at Sphere with my wife. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was outstanding-friendly, attentive, and very professional from start to finish. What truly makes this place special is the breathtaking panoramic view of Berlin. Watching the city from above while enjoying a great meal creates a truly memorable experience. Perfect for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. Highly recommended, and we would definitely visit again.
