Staatsoper Berlin
Every year, the open-air concerts of the Staatskapelle Berlin under the direction of Daniel Barenboim are a high point of the Berlin summer. Thousands come to Bebelplatz to hear classical symphonies and instrumental concerts. 'State Opera for All' is a live broadcast of a performance from the opera house. Wagner's 'Tristan und Isolde', featuring the most famous couple in the opera repertoire, wants to be seen and heard. At the beginning of 2018, Dmitri Tcherniakov created a new production of Wagner's drama of love and death - now interpreting it and Daniel Barenboim's on the big screen in the open air, free of charge.
