We turn Berlin's streets, parks and squares into a shrill concert hall - brassy, free, colorful, loud, barrier-free and for everyone.
The aim of the project is the renewed implementation and the related consolidation and expansion of an open, in Berlin so far unique creative and participative festival concept: The association Berlin Brass Festival is planning for the second time a multi-day event in June 2019, at the workshops with pupils, School concerts, street music and work with young and amateur bands are connected. Musically, the live experience of modern interpreted, direct and free accessible brass music is the focus. Due to the participation of professional (international) brass bands and the inclusion of Berlin amateur musicians and children / young people, the festival is characterized by its international as well as integrative and participative character and has a special appeal for Berlin. The event is an adaptation of the established international brass festivals from Great Britain and Ireland.
