This hostel is run with sustainable initiative, an extra reason to love it. As well as being good for to the world by being environmentally freindly, the U inn Berlin Hostel has such a great, warm and inviting feel to it, that you may want to stay longer than you first thought.
You'll find a fully equipped kitchen and lockers in your room. In the lounge, you'll find free internet access as well free city maps and some city tours. There's a bunch of travel books that you are welcome to read plus DVD's to watch or a Wii game to play.
Friedrichshain is a very trendy neighbourhood with lots of places to go out socialising, eating, drinking or dancing. This hostel is on a quiet street and is only five stops on the train away from Alexanderplatz, and from here, you can get just about anywhere.
The rooms here are very nicely painted, each different and have that extra special touch. You can get anything from a single bedroom for €27 per night, to a bed in an 8 bed dorm for €14.
Late check-out at 11.00am is a very nice perk plus you can rent some cool bikes from reception to ride around town, which is a wonderful way to see Berlin.
