This hostel is a colourful, friendly and cultural experience in itself. The rooms are each fantastically painted with an individual fun flair and the common areas a treat for any guest. The staff are great, the feeling is laid back and the guests are a wide range of different people.
There is 24 hour reception, free internet access and luggage storage, but the extra perks are like a free city map and free walking tours when the whether permits make it a little more special. They have a late check out at 11am and the Sunflower bar is open 23 hours and has lots of yummy shots for around €1 on their weekend specials.
Located in the heart of Friedrichshain, this is the perfect spot for going out on the town with many different bars, restaurants and clubs in the area and it's really easy to get to Mitte by public transport from here. The East Side Gallery is just across the train tracks and famous club Berghain at your door step.....practically.
