Hotel Art Nouveau Berlin - Berlin
When you stay, make sure you ask Gerd or Christine for a restaurant recommendation - there are literally hundreds within a 10 minute walk!
Hotel Art Nouveau in Berlin is a unique place to stay if you are old fashioned at heart. Located on two floors of an historic art nouveau building in the elegent locality of Charlottenburg in the city's west, the furnishings combine a feeling of classic harmony whilst providing understated modern facilities. Nearby are a wealth of shops, restaurants and café's around Kurfürstendamm and Savignyplatz.
The Hotel has been run by owners Christine und Gerd Schlenzka since they lovingly restored it in 1997. All rooms, with their individuality and charm, were designed by Christine, a decendent of the famous Thonet family of furniture designers. Christine and Gerd's pride in their hotel still shines strong and they especially enjoy the time talking with guests about their travels or giving some of their Berlin insider tips. They aim to make their guests feel like that are staying with old friends, and judging by their guestbook, they do a damn good job.
